Greenhouse

I am available as a consultant for greenhouse design, construction, production and maintenance. I have worked with landscape architects, architects, builders, estate gardeners, civil engineers, farm managers and local farmers of all sorts. I currently work with two 12.8’ x 24’ x 8’ polycarbonate greenhouses, but I have also worked in glass greenhouses and hoop houses. I am prepared to help you create a successful greenhouse of any size or shape!

Grow

In addition to greenhouse production, I can teach seedling starting and potting/re-potting of all plants and trees, micro-green production, hand cultivation, and the introduction of barnyard animals for pest control, soil aeration and fertilizer, I also specialize in house plants (including orchids) and conservatory/sunroom maintenance.

Style

Everything I do is beyond organic and complimentary to our environment. I have a Bachelor of Environmental Thought and Practice and a Master of Urban and Environmental Planning with a concentration in food systems from the University of Virginia. I have been trained in many low impact development and riparian restoration techniques for rural and urban environments. I have also produced green infrastructure plans for small cities. I grew up with a Master Gardener, my mother, whom I have been gardening with since before I can remember! I have owned and operated a greenhouse centered growing system for 8 years. I love all challenges!
